Terms of Service

By using Stretch XL Freight you agree to the terms below. These govern shipper quote requests, carrier load-board subscriptions, and platform use.

1. Who we are

Stretch XL Freight LLC operates a two-sided freight marketplace under USDOT #4409725 and MC #01732149. We are a licensed motor carrier broker (not a carrier ourselves). Shipments are hauled by verified third-party carriers in our network.

2. Shipper quotes

Quotes are binding on the carrier who submitted them but remain valid for 48 hours from generation. After 48 hours, rates may be re-quoted based on fuel, capacity, and lane conditions. All-in pricing shown upfront — no surprise surcharges for accessorials listed at quote time.

3. Cargo restrictions

Stretch XL Freight does not book hazmat / hazardous materials freight. We also do not book live animals, illegal goods, human remains, bulk perishables without reefer certification, or freight requiring licenses we don't hold. If in doubt, ask before booking.

4. Payment

Shippers: net-30 payment terms on verified invoices. Late payments after 30 days incur 1.5% monthly interest. Invoices match your booked quote exactly.

Carriers: $35/month subscription billed on signup anniversary date. First 7 days free. Cancel anytime, effective end of billing cycle. Quick-pay available on Stretch XL-booked loads for a small factoring fee.

5. Cargo insurance & claims

Every carrier carries minimum $1M auto / $100K cargo insurance. Stretch XL offers excess coverage up to $250K for high-value freight. Claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery (federal Carmack Amendment). File digitally through your dashboard with photos — typical resolution 7–10 days.

6. Dispute resolution

Disputes first go through Stretch XL's ops team at 855-564-4788 or [email protected]. Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Rules in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business.

7. Limitation of liability

Stretch XL's liability as a broker is limited to the freight charges for the specific shipment in question, except where federal law (Carmack) assigns liability directly to the carrier. Consequential, incidental, and punitive damages are excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
